Volunteer Recruitment for the Langley Centennial Museum
The Langley Centennial Museum, located in the historic village of Fort Langley, takes an active role in the education of all ages within arts, culture, and local heritage. Each year, over 35,000 visitors tour the museum and participate in museum-organized events and programming, with over 14,000 students participating in school programs.  The museum is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to join for a multitude of opportunities all throughout the summer! With Canada Day just around the corner, and summer camps for kids starting very soon, we are looking for volunteers to join our team who are looking for experience working with kids, an opportunity to gain volunteer hours, or anyone looking for something to keep busy this summer! Volunteers with the museum are required to complete a Police Information Check prior to volunteering, but once accepted can volunteer on an ongoing basis and receive a volunteer reference letter and proof of volunteership, in addition to 10% off in our gift shop! Summer camps also include field trips to some exciting locations on which our volunteers are invited!  If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email jepp@tol.ca, visit our website tol.ca for an application, or call 604 532 3536 to talk to the front desk. We are also able to provide applications for walk-in applicants!
