Substances/Substance Use Survey
We were excited to receive 209 responses to the Substances/Substance Use survey! The information we received will be useful in determining the types of resources and supports that staff would find beneficial in this area. Congratulations to the following winners of the draw for the gift cards: Whitney Lawson, Katie Robertson, Lynne Johnson Mallari, and Haley Wedgewood! One hope we have for the new school year is creating a working group interested in advancing and promoting this topic in our District. If you might be interested in participating in this initiative during the 2019-2020 school year, please submit your name by clicking HERE. DISTRICT LEARNING COMMONS
The due date for all DLC items this year is Thursday, June 6, 2019. This is so that we can complete an inventory, review stock (and replace missing items), and organize the collection for the coming school year. Please make every effort to return any DLC items you have borrowed by this date.
We hope that you have enjoyed having the DLC open again this year! If you didn’t get a chance to check us out, please visit this site to find out how to view our catalogue HERE. Bookings for the next school year are already available for your planning convenience. Your school’s Teacher-Librarian is a great resource to use if you need assistance with logging in or booking, and we at the DLC are also available to assist you. Just email email@example.com to reach us.
If you have questions, comments, or suggestions for the DLC, we would very much like to hear from you. We want the DLC to improve each year and be increasingly useful and utilized by our teachers, so thank you in advance for any feedback.
