Join Lee Watanabe Crockett For Mindful Assessment — Newly announced: Lee Watanabe Crockett is coming to Langley! Author, speaker, designer, and inspirational thinker, Crockett asserts that educators must focus assessment on mindfulness and feedback for improvement, framing assessment around six fluencies students need to cultivate. Join us for a day-long seminar outlining scenarios, lessons, activities, and assessment rubrics from Crockett’s 2016 book on the same topic. Mindful Assessment takes place October 20, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Langley Events Centre. A catered lunch will be included.
