BE AN ALLY!! – seeking help with resources
The District is suggesting the following theme for this year’s Diversity and Respect week – “BE AN ALLY”. While being an ally is traditionally connected with the LGBTQ+ community, the concept can be shared universally. A team of individuals will be gathering resources and materials to help schools/individuals plan for this important week. If you have any resources that would support the “Be an Ally” theme, please send them to: rbailie@sd35.bc.ca. Suggestions include story books, videos, posters, lessons, art projects – you name it.
