DISTRICT-VETTED RESOURCES

There are many district-vetted resources being added to the Channels within the TCS Teams. The TCS Teams are collaborative spaces where you can find resources, share resources and ask questions regarding resources and tech platforms.  All educators have been added to these Teams. We have the following 3 Teams: StrongStart – Grade 3, Grade 4-8 and Secondary. You can also participate in more than one team.

Check out “The Buzz” (visual above) in the TCS Teams “Continuity of Learning” Channel with new resources, ideas and tips around remote learning!

Getting Started with Teams Channel in TCS Teams
We now have many resources, both print and video, to support staff with using MS Office tools. To assist staff in quickly finding a resource we have created documents to connect to the desired Stream video and have included in these with the print resources in a clearly marked folder as exemplified in the Virtual Teams Meeting folder below:

Restorative Action Online Resources
Activities, worksheets, videos, lessons and other resources to support learning in Restorative Action, SEL and Peace Circle work continue to be uploaded to the Restorative Action Teams file. Content and themes include listening, working through anger, assumptions, conflict styles, and a growing collection of resources from the OWN IT curriculum on restorative principles and conflict resolution. Cristy Watson and Zofia Switkowski are available to consult with teachers around how best to support them and their efforts. Please contact cwatson@sd35.bc.ca to be added to the Team.
