Guarding Minds Survey- Your voice matters!
A big thank you to all staff that have completed the guarding minds at work survey. This survey is for all employees of the school district and is designed to measure engagement, work satisfaction and

psychological health and safety in the workplace. We are hoping for a good response rate to make the data as robust as possible and to provide clear direction as we work on staff well-being in the district. If you missed it, the survey will be open until December 15th through this link: Langley School District #35 Guarding Minds Survey 2021
Adult well-being courses from Mind-up
These courses will introduce you to the research and science around well-being and mindful teaching through the lens of MindUP’s four pillars – neuroscience, mindful awareness, social and emotional learning, and positive psychology. This course will offer you opportunities to learn, reflect and develop strategies to help you manage stress and support your mental well-being. Available free to all British Columbia educators. See attached flyer for details.
Well-being books
Your healthy staff/healthy schools reps or teams have received a set of books for all worksites about different well-being topics. The idea is for anyone who is interested to borrow them and bring them back for others to have a look at too. Many schools have them in the staff rooms or have added them to the learning commons. Have a look and share them around!
Stay tuned for more Healthy Staff, Healthy Schools news in the New Year as we work on this important topic together.
