Beginning at the end of October and running until the end of May, this course is offered in partnership with over 50 non-profit organizations. It serves to support participants in deepening their understanding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives while strengthening connections with the local Land and supporting more respectful, reciprocal relationships.

They have not only designed most of the hundreds of activities you will experience and take home, but they have also field-tested them in their own classrooms.
All summit participants will receive lifetime access to a folder of over 100 of our greatest games, activities, videos, resources, and more! These resources can be easily downloaded and printed for immediate use.

Museum of Vancouver is offering a dynamic day of hands-on weaving, experiential learning, and to connect with other K-12 teachers. The morning starts with a traditional cedar bracelet weaving workshop, led by skilled Musqueam weaver, Rita Kompst. Rita will guide educators through the intricate process of crafting a beautiful bracelet out of locally harvested cedar. Following a catered lunch, there’ll be an afternoon session to learn more about the MOV’s French and English educational offerings.

Circular Economy Ambassador Program (CEAP) | More info | Flyer
With less than 9% of plastic being recycled, we face a serious plastic pollution issue. Our Circular Economy Ambassador Program helps to educate students on the importance of a circular economy and teaches them how to divert their waste both at home and within their community. The program offers both in-class and hands-on learning, where we provide all of the resources and send along free reusable gloves and bags for your class to conduct a cleanup!
